No one can deny that we live in interesting times. While some may think the political debate lies between Democrats and Republicans, nothing can be further from the truth. It's time the American people understood what's really at stake. This show serves many purposes, but none greater than focusing on the true issue - saving the Republic. As a country, we have lost the vision of our Founding Fathers and their creation of a constitutionally limited government. Today, both political parties believe in a big government with unlimited spending, showering their supporters with empty promises of entitlements. It's not sustainable and this must stop.
If we are to restore our country, we must embrace what made America truly great. Matt Clark has dedicated his work on the Clarkcast to unveiling the insanity of todays politics, focusing on the relevant history, and offering a fresh and young perspective. If you think it's all "doom and gloom", then you're mistaken! We add some fun in the mix along the way.
Born during the great Reagan years, Matt Clark is one of the youngest talk radio personalities on terrestrial radio, offering a fresh and young perspective on today's events and topics. As a graduate of history from the University of Michigan—Ann Arbor, Matt places a strong importance on the past. He believes, you must know where we've been to understand where we're going.
Even in his youth, Matt had a strong interest in politics. As this interest grew, he fueled his passion for politics and history by attending youth leadership conferences in Washington D.C., experiencing first-hand how the government should function and operate. Even in school, he was the first to step up and either challenge a teacher's perspective on an issue or offer a different opinion. (Yes, he was "that guy.") Matt's drive to become a talk radio personality began when he was 15 years old, after calling into a nationally syndicated show to speak about his high school instructor's political bias. As years passed and the indoctrination grew harsher in his colleges years, Matt needed an outlet to express his opinions and viewpoints. The rest, as they say, is history.
