Halloween Spooktacular – Yankee Air Museum’s Annual Free Halloween Party
October 26 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Yankee Air Museum’s Annual Free Halloween Party
All of the ingredients for Yankee Air Museum’s 5th Annual Halloween Spooktacular are in the caldron, simmering a stew of fun on Saturday, October 26, 2019. The Phantom and Cobra are ready and the Thunderstreak too! There will be ghosts galore, greeting guests with a “Boo!” The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 3:00 p.m., admission is free and everyone should come. Yankee Air Museum is located at 47884 D Street, Belleville, Michigan 48111.
The Spooktacular, as always, will provide an extensive lineup of enchanting and amusing activities. Highlights include candy from the sky at about 1:00 p.m. (weather permitting) courtesy of Dave’s Helicopter Service. Additional entertainment will include live animals, hands-on science, face painting, plenty of trick-or-treating, all with a backdrop of festively decorated aircraft and exhibits.
The Yankee Air Museum, Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and the Leslie Science & Nature Center partnership “Unity in Learning” are jointly producing the event. All three organizations are collaborating to engage kids, stimulate their imaginations and show them possibilities for their future.
“When we say ‘back by popular demand,’ it’s true! The response from the public has always been great. Last year, about 1,100 kids of all ages visited throughout the day,” said Kevin Walsh, Yankee Air Museum Executive Director. “This year will be better than ever.”
Curatorial Director Julie Osborne agreed, saying, “We look forward to seeing all of the creative costumes people wear, the kids look forward to science that’s fun and everyone likes the candy, including me.”
The best of Halloween is nearby at Yankee Air Museum on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Join in the fun at this no cost, family event.
