Healthy Downriver Community Team hosts free professional resource sharing event at Wayne County Community College District-DC

For nearly two decades, The Healthy Downriver Community Team, a local community collaborative, has planned and presented its free professional resource sharing event “Mending the Safety Net”. This year, Mending the Safety Net will be held Friday, January 25th from 8:30 am-11:30 am at Wayne County Community College District-Downriver Campus, 21000 Northline Road, Taylor. This event is an opportunity for nonprofit direct service providers to attend. An exhibit table is available at no cost to those who provide free services and programs to Downriver residents. This event is designed for family service workers, hospital and school social workers, nurses, case managers, health and human services workers, educators, early childhood professionals and volunteers who assist families in need. Mending the Safety Net is a great opportunity for industry professionals to speak with other professionals and learn about new programs and services that could help their clients.
For exhibitor details or general info about the event, please contact Dina Vannice at dinav@theinfocenter.org Registration is not necessary to attend the event. This annual resource fair is open to field professionals at no charge. (Hospitality Suite sponsored by DTE Energy)
