LESLIE SCIENCE & NATURE CENTER HOSTS A NIGHT WITH OWLS FOR VALENTINE’S DAY

Are you looking for a distinctive and memorable way to celebrate Valentine’s Day? Join Leslie Science & Nature Center as we provide an unforgettable way to celebrate!
If you enjoy nature, owls, or are just looking for a fun and unusual evening with a friend or loved one, we have the perfect Valentine’s Day program.

Leslie Science & Nature Center (LSNC) invites you to spend a unique evening with your friends or sweetheart during our Owl Do I Love Thee… a program for adults.

Get up close and personal with these magnificent predators as you learn about their mating habits and rituals.

Enjoy a lantern-lit poetry walk, and time together with games, art, and tasty desserts on Friday, February 14 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Cobblestone Farm, 2781 Packard St, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
Nothing says “I love you” like a night out in nature! Please come dressed for the weather. This program is designed for ages 18 and up, and is a perfect low-key date for couples, and a fun time for friends.

“Seeing an owl up close is a pretty magical experience. They are incredibly powerful and mysterious creatures, and hold so many myths and legends in cultures around the world. It’s only fitting that we take one of our most romantic holidays and fill it with owls! You may be surprised to find that their social and mating behaviors don’t stray too far from what we humans do when looking for romance. We might even learn a thing or two about mating and dating success from these magnificent birds of prey!”, Lannis Smith, Program Manager

Please join us for Owl Do I Love Thee on Friday, February 14 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Cobblestone Farm, 2781 Packard St, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.

Registration is $25 per couple/LSNC members; $30/couple for non-members. Because event size is limited, preregistration is required at http://www.lesliesnc.org or by calling 734-997-1553.

Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center create moments of discovery that inspire curiosity, exploration and respect for STEM and the natural world.
