The Information Center seeks community donors for annual

Hope for the Holidays Program

November 16, 2018, Taylor, MI. The Information Center Hope for the Holidays/Adopt-a-Family Program continues the tradition of providing holiday gifts for low-income families. This program matches families with community donors for extra assistance during the holiday season. The Adopt-a-Family program is supported by private donations, churches and local businesses. For over thirty years, this program has been widely successful due to the generosity of the community. Many Downriver residents have been helped through this collaborative program.

Lori Stevenson, Program Coordinator, “Each year, we are approached by a large number of families and seniors in need of adoption. We’re hoping those in the community who have the resources will join us in this effort”.

Over the years, thousands of families and seniors in our community have received holiday assistance through food baskets, gift cards and miscellaneous items. If you or your business would like to adopt a family or would like to make a cash donation to help sustain the Hope for the Holidays Program another year, please contact Lori Stevenson at The Information Center, 734.282.7171.
